About Us
Our Story
We started out raising a few day old ducklings and growing just five dahlias and a few tomatoes back in 2014. Back then, we were renting a 400 square foot apartment out in the sticks. We chose that tiny 3 room apartment, since it was on a ton of land, which let us start growing, learning and day dreaming.
We've learned and grown a lot since those days... and started building our farm in Coventry, Ct in the summer of 2019. From growing our farm and family, we've loved every second of it.
Growing Locally... Completely Pesticide Free
Our produce and blooms are 100% pesticide free, thanks to hours upon hours spent cultivating, controlling weeds using hand tools and weed fabric, releasing beneficial insects like lady bugs to manage pests, and feeding our plants compost and natural sources of fertilizer. All of this neurotic care, time and effort replaces the need for harsh chemicals and pesticides. We not only grow food and flowers, but also raise our small family here, so these methods may require more effort, but knowing our blooms and produce are all natural is worth every second of the blood, sweat and tears that goes into making it happen.
